R Collard’s fixed crushing plant will be operational this month

Manufactured by crushing and screening specialist Duo, the new plant has been customised to Collard’s own specifications and design and is currently being installed at the company’s site in the south of England.

Due to be fully assembled and operational this month, the new plant will produce recycled aggregates in five different sizes – ranging from +40 mm to -5 mm.

It will allow Collard to produce around 250 t of recycled aggregates an hour – a 200% increase on the company’s current production capacity.

As well as increasing production of recycled aggregates, the plant will also feed Collard’s ready-mix concrete production.
