Facchin Trasporti used a Faymonville MegaMax extending low bed

Transporting railway rolling stock can be a challenge often requiring careful selection of equipment. Overall height and length of the wagon on the lowbed trailer is often the issue.

Italian Faymonville customer Facchin Trasporti moved a wagon from Treviso railway station to the Interport Cervignano del Friuli. A 4-axle Faymonville MegaMax lowbed trailer was chosen for the task. It is a telescopic lowbed in this case extended with additional elongation beams. The convoy was 38 metres long and weighed a total of 75 tonnes.
