Balfour Beatty has paid UK£ 52 million (€ 76 million) to acquire Colwin Group, a building and refurbishment contractor active in Wales, South and Southwest England. Colwin had sales of UK£ 186 million (€ 274 million) last year and generated a pretax profit of UK£ 5,3 million (€ 7,8 million). It has a confirmed order book of more than UK£ 200 million (€ 294 million) of work and also comes with net cash of UK£ 20 million (€ 29 million).
