US equipment rental holding company Rental Equipment Investment Corp (REIC) has acquired all the assets of Columbia River Machinery (CRM), along with certain liabilities, the company has confirmed.

CRM is an equipment rental company, based in Oregon, US, meaning REIC now owns a total of 21 locations across five states.

Kevin Fitzgerald, CEO of REIC, said, “Columbia River Machinery is an excellent well-run company with a management team led by Morgan Neal.

“Having a store already in Bend, Oregon as well as several stores in western Idaho makes this acquisition a perfect fit for our group of stores.”

He added that the company planned to expand in its existing region and confirmed it was looking to open up new regions in the near future.

The company recently acquired Pro Rental & Sales, with 13 depots in Idaho, Oregon and Montana.
