The MC-3-6 EX radio remote control, produced by Cavotec Micro- control AS, for use on cranes and winches, is rated for use in ATEX Zone 1 applications. ATEX, the new European Union legislative framework covering the installation of equipment in explosive atmospheres, treats gas and dust separately but relevant equipment must be certified for both, where it is to be used in Zone 1 or 2 environments for gas, and Zone 21 or 22 for dust. The MC-3-6

EX remote control includes an anti-static case, a double battery compartment, and an easy to read LCD panel. It is designed to operate on all available BUS systems.
