Revenues rally but loss continues at Noble Iron

North American equipment rental company Noble Iron announced an increase in first half revenues, although it reported an operational loss for the period up to June 30, 2014.

First half revenue totaled CA$10.4 million (€7.25 million), up from CA$10.1 million (€7 million) in 2013.

Of this, rental and distribution accounted for CA$ 8.2 million (€5.7 million), up from CA$7.5 million (€5.2 million) the year previous.

Noble Iron’s software and services division posted venue of CA$2.2 million (€1.5 million) for the first half of 2014, down from CA$2.5 million (€1.7 million) in 2013.

Gross profit for Noble Iron held steady year-on-year at CA$6,092,142, (€4,246,855).

Overall, the company reported an operational loss of CA$2.8 million (€1.9 million), a decline on 2013’s loss of CA$2.1 million (€1.5 million).
