Riwal changes structure

03 June 2015

Riwal is changing its organisational structure, eliminating the regional set up of its country organisations.

As a result, the following organisational changes are now in place:

The Executive Board will consist of the CEO, CFO and two COO’s, with the COO’s concentrating on the following operational duties:

  • Søren Rosenkrands, COO, will have executive responsibility for safety, fleet, procurement, and technical matters.
  • Pedro Torres, previously regional director, has been appointed to the position of COO, where he will have executive responsibility for operational excellence in the countries throughout the Riwal Group.

As part of these changes, Wayne Lawson, previously regional director, is leaving Riwal. He joined the company in May 2013.

Norty Turner, Riwal’s CEO commented, “This new structure supports our continuous focus on driving global performance and on improving communication throughout the organisation.

"We deeply thank Wayne Lawson for bringing his energy, passion and proven leadership skills in the company during the last two years. He held a critical role within Riwal, and his leadership contributed to strong and solid growth in Northern Europe. We wish him every success in his future endeavors.”
