Road recycling

11 April 2008

Dutch Recycler Van Bentum recycling combinatie is using a 48 tonne Powerscreen H6203 with Flex-Mat 3 screen media to separate recycled asphalt for re-use as roadbase. The asphalt is burned prior to being put through the screen to remove tar, as required by Dutch regulations. Once cleaned, the material passes through the screen, which can produce 4 different grades – 0-3 mm, 3-9 mm, 9-30mm and 30+ mm – at a throughput of some 300 tonnes/hour.

The H6203 is the top of the range Powerscreen. It was developed for large volume processing of crushed stone and gravel, coal, recycled concrete and asphalt, and is capable of up to 800 tonnes/hour throughput of four specific sized products.
