Red Sea International (RSI) and Rental Solutions Services (RSS) have signed a strategic partnership to jointly provide portable accommodation, power and cooling rental services to customers in the GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council) area.

Dubai-based RSS rents power and cooling systems, while RSI is a modular accommodation specialist that has been operating in the region for 40 years. It has offices in Saudi Arabia, UAE, Oman and Kuwait, and sells and rents modular buildings to customers in the oil and gas, affordable housing and remote buildings sectors.

RSI said the alliance would provide clients with fully functional modular accommodation, incorporating power, cooling, wastewater processing and water supply infrastructure at any remote location, on long or short term contracts. Saudi Arabia will be a particular target market, with a growing sports and entertainment events business.

William Ali Mills, CEO of RSI, said; ”The market today lacks a full service capability in this important sector. Clients…need the ability to source all their requirements under one roof, whereby they are assured that the difficulties of operating in a remote location or under tight timelines can be achieved economically and efficiently.

”RSS is a leading player in the GCC for remote power and cooling solutions and we are pleased to have reached this agreement and are confident that we can jointly serve the market through this alliance”.

RSI is a Saudi Public Joint Stock Company comprising Red Sea Housing Services (RSHS), Red Sea Affordable Housing (RSAH), and Red Sea Building Materials (RSBM).

Two thirds of its 2017 revenues of SAR 773.1 million (€176 million) were generated in Saudi Arabia and more than 40% of its business last year was in rental.
