Rusch's 34 m demolition rig based on a Cat 5130 is due for shipping this week

Det Norske Veritas (DNV) approved certification of the Rusch 34 m modified Caterpillar 5130 built by Rusch for AF Decom on Friday last week (5 June).

Netherlands-based Rusch is now in the process of disassembling the machine prior to its shipment to Vais in Norway.

Ruud Schreijer told D&Ri that the machine is due to leave his company's Hoorn factory near Amsterdam on Wednesday of this week (10 June), with reassembly starting next Monday (15 June).

Norwegian demolition contractor AF Decom is planning to carry out its own acceptance testing of the machine starting on 19 June.
