RusRental announces top ten tower crane companies

RusRental has released the results from its first survey of the Russian tower crane rental market.

The top ten list of the largest Russian tower crane rental companies, as found in the survey, are as follows:

1. Vertikal (Moscow)

2. UM-260 (Saint-Petersburg)

3. UM-3 (Saint-Petersburg)

4. Rentakan (Moscow)

5. UMSR-2 (Vladimir)

6. StroyKomplektatsiya (Moscow)

7. StrotMekhanizatsiya (Ufa)

8. GlavArendaKran (Moscow)

9. BashKranSnab (Moscow)

10. Global Rent (Saint-Petersburg).

The majority of the largest companies of the Russian tower crane rental market are located in the Central and North-Western parts of Russia (cities of Moscow and St. Petersburg).

According to RusRental, Russian rental companies offer 220 models of tower cranes for rent, and almost half (48%) of them have Russian-made tower cranes (KB, RBK) in their rental fleets.

The survey also found that the most widespread tower cranes have a lifting capacity in the 8 to 10 tonne range and are erected to a height of 30 to 50 metres. Tower crane rental rates per unit vary from Roubles 130,000 (US$ 4,000) to 800,000 (US$25,000) a month, depending on model characteristics (lifting capacity, jib outreach), region and pricing policies.
