Ruthmann has supplied a 33 m working height truck mount to the PT Kaltim Prima Coal mine in Kalimantan Timur, in the heart of Indonesia.

The Steiger T 330 assists with daily in-plant maintenance and installation tasks and was delivered through Ruthmann’s longstanding customer Ziegler. The model features a 33.3 m working height and 21 m lateral outreach.

The T 330 was mounted on a 15 tonne Mercedes (Atego 4x4) all-wheel drive chassis and suited to the rough terrian conditions at the mine.

With the optional horizontal/vertical support mechanism, it means with outriggers extended just 50 cm laterally, the T 330 HV 12 Steiger can provide the maximum capacity. The model is also suitable for cramped inner-city conditions. In uneven terrain, the outriggers can be extended horizontally beside the ruts left by the tires.

The T 330 now in action at the mine, is equipped with a double-insulated, 1000 V synthetic work basket. The additional box body offers ample storage for necessary tools and assembly equipment.
