Ruthmann is planning four, new, fourth-generation Steiger TB models.

From the Spring of 2010 the Steiger TB 270, 27 m working height machine will be available on 3.5 t trucks with emphasis on off-road vehicles with greater load capacity.

There are three other models in the new line up: the features of the Steiger TB 270 have been integrated into two of these: the TB 230 with its 23m working height and the TB 190 which can reach up to 19m. The 20.5 m working height Steiger TBR 200 has a new boom construction called Russel, for vehicles of 3,5 t and over.

Russel is a telescoping boom with a movable jib with a swiveling range of 1100. The boom design is said to provide "amazing agility."

The new booms will be made of the same fine grained steel with which Ruthmann makes all its booms, more details on the new models will be released in the future. Ruthmann will continue to manufacture its third generation TB series models.
