SAB expands rental fleet

15 May 2014

German rental company Service am Bau (SAB) has expanded its fleet with the addition of five Yanmar mini excavators with operating weights ranging from 1 to 5.5 t.

SAB rents site equipment, formwork and construction cranes to customers in the Rhine region.

Its latest fleet expansion included Yanmar’s 1 t class SV08 mini excavator, which has a small turning radius and is designed to fit into tight jobsites, even inside buildings.

SAB CEO Alfred Reif said, "Our customers in Cologne and Bonn often have to battle with narrow driveways and small workrooms. In order to handle requests with these conditions, we opted for the smaller 1 t variant.”
