The second International Rental Exhibition (IRE) will be held at the RAI exhibition centre in Amsterdam on 7-9 June 2011.

The first International Rental Exhibition has opened in Amsterdam with several exhibitors reporting sales on the first day of the show.

With the quality of visitors to the show extremely high, JCB told IRN it had sold over 100 machines on the opening day, the majority going to a single customer that JCB believed it would have been difficult to meet at any other event.

Brendon Powerwashers also reported a good opening day with sales of 50 machines. JLG and Soroto also made sales.

For a full report on the show, and a review of the newest products launched during the event, see next month's International Rental News.

The ERA has attracted over 300 participants, the highest ever attendance in its history, with over 17 countries represented.

Tonight will also see the first ever European Rental Awards, jointly organised by International Rental News (IRN) and the European Rental Association (ERA). For details, see: www.khl.com/rentalawards. Full details of this exciting event will also be in next month's IRN.
