Samoter date change

The next Samoter construction equipment exhibition in Verona will be held from 8 – 11 May, 2014, a change from the previous date of 27 February – 2 March. The exhibition will be held concurrently with Asphaltica, a show dedicated to road construction and safety, last held in Padova, Italy in November.

The last time the triennial Samoter exhibition was held in 2011 it attracted 98,000 visitors from 110 countries. There were 900 exhibitors at the show, taking 109,000 m2 of space.

However, the timing of previous Samoters in February and March ahs meant the exhibition has been held within a week or two of the ConExpo/Con-Agg show in Las Vegas, US, which also runs on a three-year cycle. Poor weather has also been an issue for Samoter in the past, and the move to may should help alleviate this problem.
