Sandvik adds to distributor network

Following on from the announcement of the appointment of a new distributor in central Asia, , Sandvik has also announced the appointment of a new Portuguese distributor for its crushers and screens. With effect from March 6, Ascendum Group will represent Sandvik in that country where it will supply a comprehensive range of machines, along with providing full aftermarket care, spare parts and customer service.

Additionally when the situation requires it, the company will be able to call on round the clock support from Sandvik Construction Mobile Crushers and Screens head offices located in the UK. This will further enable customers to benefit from the specialized advice and assistance that has made Sandvik the world leading supplier of construction equipment.

Herbert Buder, global distributor manager Sandvik Construction said of the appointment: “We are sure that the combination of Sandvik equipment and global aftermarket support, together with the local knowledge and industry expertise of Ascendum, will enable Sandvik customers throughout the area to benefit from a winning combination.”

Ascendum Group has offices, workshops and service engineers throughout Portugal and is well established in the distribution, rental, sales and service of construction equipment for the building and public works sectors.
