Sandvik will use the forthcoming bauma trade show to introduce the latest generation of its E7 scalper, which it said has been redesigned in light of feedback from customers and experience gained from operation in the field. The result is a a substantial increase in stockpiling capacity, a wider oversize conveyor to handle large material, a heavy duty apron feeder with increased feed hopper size, an aggressive screen box action to maximise enhanced product handling and delivery capability. Sandvik also said that the latest generation machine has a user friendly colour-coded control panel with sequential start for ease of operation.

It will be joined by a new impactor, the QI440, which has been designed for use in primary and secondary crushing applications by large scale operators. The QI440 features a large feed hopper with efficient pre-screening, an under pan feeder to reduce spillage and protect the main conveyor from high velocity material from the rotor and user friendly PLC control system and colour display for ease of operation.

According to Sandvik, the QI440 delivers an excellent reduction ratio with impressive production rates at low wear rates with easy maintenance, leading to a low cost per tonne.
