Tower Cranes: How OSHA 1926.1400 Affects Operations is the next session of SC&RA's monthly webinar series.

The 15 June presentation will highlight key areas in the US regulations and help explain how to comply. It also will cover new items in the next edition of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers standard for tower cranes - ASME B30.3.

Presenting the webinar will be Peter Juhren, Morrow Equipment Company corporate service manager. Heis a 30-year veteran of the industry, a member of the ASME B30 main committee, chair of the ASME B30.3 subcommittee for tower cranes, and a commissioner with the National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators (NCCCO).

Juhren was a member of the OSHA C-DAC committee in 2004 to rewrite CFR1926.550 (now 1926.1400) subpart N for cranes. In addition, he is on the ISO-TC96 committee for global standardisation of crane standards.
