Scottish simplicity

Hyundai excavators have found favour with Scottish rental companies following the opening of the Doune, Stirling dealership in Southern Scotland last year.
“One of the most popular machines has proved to be the latest Dash-7A version of the 14 tonne crawler excavator, the Robex R140LC-7A, and we have delivered many since their introduction,” said Brian Young, managing director of Young Plant Sales.
Seamus Shields of JMS Plant Hire, one of the first companies to buy Hyundai from Young Plant Sales, said of the machines, “They are fully up to date in specification and they perform well. Best of all, especially in a plant hire situation, they are robust and not unnecessarily complicated.
“The operators like them too, and the machines have established a reputation for comfort, easy operation and good productivity, to the extent that clients are now asking for them by name.”
