Completion of doosan infracore's € 3,5 billion (US$ 4,9 billion) acquisition of Ingersoll Rand's construction equipment businesses, is scheduled for 1 November 2007. The acquisition includes Ingersoll Rand's attachment business Montabert as well as, the world's largest manufacturer of compact equipment, Bobcat. The deal is the biggest ever overseas acquisition by a South Korean company, and is also the largest ever acquisition in the construction equipment sector.
