France-based lifting and specialized transport company AltéAd Lorlev was contracted in the exhibition space expansion of the Parc des Expositions in Paris. The company used a Sennebogen 613 telescopic crane for the installation work on the roof. The 613 crawler crane was chosen for its compact dimensions and minimum ground pressure, the company said.

In the course of the expansion of the exhibition building, new conference rooms will be constructed above the existing Hall 7 and a future glass roof will be supported by a steel construction. Having a lifting capacity of 16 tonnes and a cab that can be raised hydraulically, plus the option to move components under full load, the 613 was the product of choice.

While other cranes were either too large or too heavy to work on top of the hall roof, the 613 had the right features for the job.
