German crane rental firm Wiesbauer put its new Sennebogen crawler crane straight to work on construction of a logistics centre in Raunheim.

The 300 tonne capacity 7700 lattice boom crane was delivered direct to the construction site from Sennebogen's factory in Straubing.

Construction company Max Bögl Bauservice used the 7700 for the construction of a €30 million (US$40 million), 51,000 square metre logistics centre for commercial group Rewe. It worked alongside the firm's own Sennebogen 5500 crawler.

The two cranes lifted 2,857 pieces, including purlins, girders and joists weighing up to 42 tonnes. The 7700 had 24.3 m of main boom and a 35.5 m fly boom. The 5500 was operated with a 24.3 m main boom and 29.9 m fly boom.
