Turkish logistics service provider, IDC Liman Isletmeleri, has purchased a Sennebogen 880 EQ material handler for Izmir Harbour in Turkey.

The port has a harbour area of 191,000 square metres. Around 600 tonnes of cargo is moved at the port per hour. The crane is being used for unloading ships and loading trucks at the port. It has a range of 33 metres and a safe working load of 30 tonnes. To safely carry out tasks, the machine has been elevated 7.2 m via a round steel pylon, a spokesperson said. It has also been fitted with headlights and an 8 cubic metre double shell grab. In addition, it has a factory-provided special paint finish for working in a maritime environment.

Onsite service of the model is being handled by Turkish sales and service partner Forsen.
