Attendees turned out from all over the world to see the latest cranes, other lifting and specialized transport equipment and services. Preliminary figures from the organisers show there were more than 124220 visitors at ConExpo-Con/Agg 2005 and the IFPE 2005 hydraulics show during its five-day run from 15 to 19 March. International attendance (by people from more than 130 countries) was a record high of more than 21220 (17 % of the total).

“Attendance and exhibit numbers reflected an improved economy, including pent-up demand to replace aging fleets”, show management said.
