Six-storey hotel constructed in a week

Latvian modular builder Forta Pro has produced a video, showing the rapid construction of a six-storey hotel in Denmark.

The structure of the 88-room Go Hotel in Copenhagen was erected in just seven days.

At Forta Pro’s factory in Ventspils, Latvia, the modules making up the external structure of the building were made. The company then made and installed all services, fixtures and fittings, before transporting the completed modules to the Danish site and positioning them, ready to hoisted into position.

The company said its methods result in significant time and cost savings, as well as a reduction in accumulated waste, making the process more sustainable than traditional construction.

Martins Motivāns, CEO of Forta Pro, said the two modular production factories in Latvia, owned by Forta Pro, would help developers “accomplish delivery of new hotels with the current market demand, ensuring high-quality, speed and efficiently”.
