Skanska is set to build a mixed-use commercial and retail development in the City of London, UK, with a contract worth £127 million (€142.87 million).

The contract, with Swiss-based investment company Partners Group Fenchurch, is to build Eighty Fenchurch Street. Skanska said the project would be included in the order bookings for Europe for the fourth quarter of 2017.

Eighty Fenchurch Street will be a 14-storey building comprising 22,000m2 of office accommodation and about 1,100m2 of retail space.

Construction will begin this spring, and the development is expected to be completed in 2020.
