Linamar Corporation’s Skyjack division has announced its plans to exhibit at Bauma China, following increased demands for its aerial work platforms from across Asia.

Malcolm Early, vice president of marketing at Skyjack, said extending the company’s Asian reach is a key target for the business.

“One of our strategic goals for the short-term is to strengthen our presence in several high-potential growth markets, one of which is China,” he said.

“There’s no question that China represents a huge opportunity for Skyjack and we have made recent investments in personnel and offices in the country. Even though we’re a relative newcomer to the market we’re already seeing growing interest from customers. Exhibiting at Bauma China will allow us to present ourselves to thousands of Chinese industry professionals at a single event and we’re excited to be attending this show.”

Platforms from across the Skyjack range will be on booth J.06 in the outside area at Bauma China 2014. Visitors who register at the booth will also receive a limited edition of Skyjack’s Bauma China t-shirt, while stocks last.

Bauma China takes place 25 to 28 November 2014 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre.
