Snorkel supports Emirates Team New Zealand in the Volvo Ocean Race

Snorkel is an official team supplier to Emirates Team New Zealand, providing it with two S1930E compact electric scissor lifts. The machines will travel with the support crew, traversing the globe on the round-the-world race.

The Volvo Ocean Race gets underway in Alicante, Spain, in October and takes in ports including Abu Dhabi, Auckland and Miami before finishing in Galway, Scotland in July 2012.

Emirates Team New Zealand won the Louis Vuitton Dubai Regatta last November, with a 2-0 victory over America's Cup holders BMW Oracle. Al Laith, Snorkel's distributor in Dubai, supplied some Snorkel scissor lifts to help with the inspection and repair of the Emirates Team New Zealand vessel.
