Snorkel to unveil electric scissor range at The Rental Show

Snorkel will debut a new range of electric scissors at The Rental Show, Feb. 22-25 in New Orleans. The units will replace the current line and will launch in North America first before landing in the rest of the world later this year, the company told ALH at World of Concrete 2015.
The 3219, 3226, 4726 and 4732 are designed for the rental industry and feature saloon-styled entry doors as well as double swing-out doors for the battery compartment. The units do not have any single-sliding doors for maintenance, making the cupboard-styled doors easier for maintenance access.
The new range features 12 guage flatplate diamond flooring and a 3-foot extension with telescopic rails. All units have hard-moutned control boxes. The scissor stacks are dual shear designed and the company upsized its pins for user confidence and rigidity. The S3219 and S3226E have 3-inch kingpins and the S4726E and S4732E have 4-inch kingpins.
"This unit is designed for rental customers," the company said. "It will have a long life and is simple."
