Software company Aimit rebrands as Armada Dynamics

17 February 2011

Norwegian rental software company Aimit AS has changed its name to Armada Dynamics AS to better reflect its international strategy. Armada is the name of its North American subsidiary that was opened last year.

"The executive team of Aimit AS, felt that this was the right time...in which to announce and relaunch the EQM rental management brand under our new flagship name of Armada Dynamics AS", said Bengt Rotheim, Armada's managing director.

"Additionally, we felt that the rebranding of our new name was critical in allowing our existing and new clients to better identify with our core expertise, rooted in the Microsoft Dynamics NAV platform, hence, we included the word Dynamics into our corporate brand."

The company, which was founded in Norway in 2001 and is a Microsoft Certified Gold Partner and a Dynamics NAV reseller, focuses on providing ‘best of breed' rental management systems.

Armada's chairman of the board, Hans-Ole Liseth, said the company had been contemplating the change for some time; "Armada Dynamics' brand name seemed to better represent our present and more importantly our future direction as a company."

Armada exhibits at the ARA's Rental Show at the end of February, and both Bengt Rotheim and Moses de los Santos, managing director of Armada Dynamics (US), will be in Las Vegas.
