A Mobile Solar Plant from Bredenoord is providing power for large music festivals around Europe this summer.

The plant's tour starts in Roskilde, Denmark, and it will also be seen in action at Pohoda, Slovakia; Smukfest in Denmark and at Pukkelpop festival in Belgium.

Bredenoord said festivals could save 95% on their fuel consumption and CO2 emissions by using the Mobile Solar Plant, which boasts 150m2 of solar panels. Having the plant on site is also an undeniable statement in favour of sustainable energy, according to the company.

The Mobile Solar Plant arrives at the location in its folded state, and Bredenoord claims it can be unfolded and operational within one hour, providing a maximum of 58kW.

A reliable power supply is guaranteed through a smart combination of solar panels, a Smart Power bank and a generator. The plant can be monitored online as well.
