German crane rental company Sommer Kranverleih has taken delivery of a new Liebherr LTM 1200-5.1 wheeled telescopic crane as the company expands its fleet in 2012.

The new 200 tonner replaces an LTM 1160-5.1 and becomes the fifteenth Liebherr mobile crane in the Sommer fleet.

According to Franz Sommer, managing director, the new mobile crane will be suited to steel construction jobs, as well as assembling prefabricated concrete elements, and as an ancillary crane in the wind power sector.

Sommer said it will continue to grow the fleet in 2012 with a Liebherr LTM 1095-5.1 on the delivery books.
