sourcing the data:

25 March 2008

This year, we carried out our largest ever effort to contact the world's leading demolition contractors, as well as making use of the industry knowledge of leading figures from around the world. In addition, data for the major companies that did not respond directly was obtained using leading independent financial data sources.

I would like to thank all those who responded to our information requests, as well as those experts who helped us refine the companies on the list.

D&Ri has endeavoured to ensure the accuracy of the financial results reported, but cannot accept any liability of any errors or inaccuracies that might have resulted from our data gathering process.

If your company is not in the list, or you did not respond to our request for data, I would like to encourage you to do so next year. Our aim in producing the D&Ri ranking is to provide a valuable data source for the industry by constantly refining the accuracy of the list. We can only achieve this with the cooperation of the industry.
