CTE has signed up a dealer in South Africa, Smith Capital Equipment.

Smith Capital has been active in South Africa for more than 40 years in the lifting sector, both cranes and access.

The dealership agreement covers CTE’s complete range of B-LIFT and B-LIFT High range telescopic truck mounts, ZED articulated truck mounts and Traccess track mounted platforms, plus service provision.

Over the years Smith Capital has played a key role in the industrial sector of South Africa, with solutions for the utility sectors, municipal and mining, and, it says, is the only company in Africa that designs and manufactures aerial platforms, including insulated and standard models.

Fortunate Mdanda, CEO of Smith Capital Equipment, said, “Smith Capital Equipment (SCE) is excited to be a distributor for CTE Lift. One of SCE’s key strategies is collaboration. In our pursuit to offer turnkey solutions to our customers, we have collaborations in the form of agency agreements and distribution agreements with world-class companies. CTE products complement SCE products affording us an opportunity to provide an end-to-end solution to our customers thus adding value to our customers”.

CTE said the partnership represented an important strategic point in the global market.
