Two Kamag K24 6-axle modules coupled longitudinally to transport heavy crane parts at BOS-Shelf LLC in Azerbaijan

Azerbaijan-based transport company BOS-Shelf has taken delivery of Kamag K24 self propelled modular transporter (SPMT) from German manufacturer TII Group.

The K24 SPMT has hydraulically suspended pendulum axles and electronic steering. It can be used to transport steel pipes with lengths up to 24 metres and diameters up to 5 m, or modular equipment, for example, deep sea jackets with total weights up to 800 tonnes.

BOS-Shelf LLC ordered a total of 24 axle lines, power packs, remote controls and 300 tonne payload bolsters.
