UK-Powered access rental company Star Platforms has opened its second depot since launching in October 2014.

The new depot near Sevenoaks is ideally placed to serve the South East of the UK. Joint managing director Richard Miller said, “Demand for our hire service is strong so we are delighted to provide our customers with coverage right across London and the South East via two depots either side of London. As members of the national hire group The Access Alliance we are also well placed to deliver platforms throughout the UK.”

Co-owner and sales director Bryan Freeman, who will closely oversee operations at the depot, added, “We have already added a number of brand new, market leading machines at the new Kent depot and have also invested in our own delivery vehicles with experienced, IPAF trained drivers."

Star Platforms operates a fleet of scissors, booms and low level equipment up to 22 m working height.
