Storent invests in Bobcat machines

20 October 2015

Latvian rental company Storent has invested in 85 new machines from manufacturer Bobcat, including skid-steer loaders, compact tracked loaders and excavators.

The machines, plus attachments, were delivered by Doosan Benelux and then pre-inspected by three Bobcat dealers – Bobcat Balti in Estonia, Kono in Latvia and UAB Technikos Uostas in Lithuania. The dealers also took care of final delivery and training.

Founded in 2008, Storent is one of the leading construction and industrial equipment rental companies in the Baltics, operating 23 rental depots across Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia.

At the end of November 2014, Darby private equity made a considerable investment in Storent, opening the way to a broader development of the company’s activities.

Storent co-founder Andris Pavlovs said, “The investment allowed us to further improve the product covering by expanding the equipment fleet and adding new equipment categories. The successful deal between Doosan Benelux SA and Storent is a direct result of this.”

Storent’s fleet has a total value of over €70 million.
