Stros sells ten mast climbers to Tec

Stros, the Czech Republic based manufacturer of mast climbers and hoists, has sold a further ten machines to Tec Hoist Llc based in Florida, US. Tec Hoist is a division of Imperial Crane Sales and is the sole distributor of Stros's products in the US as well as running its own rental fleet.

Tec Hoist has been associated with Stros for four years and the new machines join 25 Stros mast climbers already in the fleet. Bill Kratochvil, vice president of Tec, told Access International that mast climbers are in very high demand in Florida where the construction of high rise condos' has not slowed.

The Stross product range includes: personnel/material hoists with a maximum load capacity from 600 to 3200 kg; material hoists with capacity of 200 to 500 kg; suspended platforms from 2m to 12 m long; work platforms with capacities from 1000 to 3000 kg and special permanent lifts.

Stros was bought from the Czech government in 1999 and is now in private ownership. All the machines are built in the Czech Republic.
