Sunbelt Rentals UK invest in solar towers.

Sunbelt Rentals UK has bought 300 solar-powered lighting towers from Trime. The rental company currently has more than 2000 Trime towers in its UK fleet.

The order is for Trime’s X-Solar lighting towers and will support Sunbelt’s ‘Our Planet’ strategy to provide environmentally focussed products with zero emissions and zero fuel usage.

Trime said the towers provide emission-free lighting “365 days a year in all conditions”.

The X-Solar is fitted with four 60-watt LED lamps fitted to a fully galvanised 8.5 m mast. It delivers a light coverage of 2000 square metres and four units can be loaded onto one single truck.

Trime has its’ headquarters in Cassinetta di Lugagnano, near Milan, Italy, and has two production facilities. One is in Cassinetta close to its head office, and the second is near Pavia, south of Milan. The company also manufactures a wide range of water-recycling wash bays and dust suppression products.
