System Lift are offering partners' customers help with projects in public places.

System Lift, the German access rental partnership organisation, is offering a package of practical help and advice to operatives who are using its members' equipment in public places.

System Lift can advise in the selection of the appropriate access equipment, help with logistics and any set up permission that might be required and can provide beacons, traffic cones, guidance cones and warning signs.

Andreas Reinkenhoff of the System Lift partner Mietlifte GmbH from Munster said that an individual must be responsible for the safety implications of a site. That person should have a suitable training certificate and System Lift can offer such training courses.

Traffic regulations impose rues on how much of the road or pavement must be closed off around a work platform and which road signs must be set up. Rules also designate the distance from the work platform and under the basket that the public can pass.

Customers' responsible person can contact the System Lift free service hotline 0700 79 78 36 54 to help plan the organisation of their job.
