TCA tackles Louis Vuitton
05 October 2015
TCA Lift has supplied three Falcon tracked platforms to the Louis Vuitton Foundation museum and cultural centre in Paris, France.
The manufacturer started working on the project with the building’s architects in 2010 before construction got started to ensure the lifts could be used in tough conditions for access equipment.
The three Falcon lifts where specially designed for this purpose. Based on the Falcon Spider 330Z one of the lifts was modified to set up and drive in the pool area while the two other Falcons were specially designed to facilitate the terrace areas.
The Falcons will be used to clean and maintain the glass and metal atrium structures. Due to the design of the building the lifts are permanently placed on the terraces that circle above the open atrium.
Brian Falck Schmidt, sales manager at TCA Lift says, “TCA Lift is honored to be part of such architectural brilliance and a stunning landmark that will be enjoyed by people from all over the world for many years to come.”
