Komatsu America will display its new intelligent machine control dozers.

Komatsu America said it would have 24 machines on display at ConExpo-Con/AGG 2014, including a line of intelligent machine control (iMC)-equipped dozers and new Tier 4 Final-compliant equipment.

It said its stand would include four iMC dozers, nine excavators, five wheeled loaders, two trucks, two larger dozers, one tracked log loader and one forklift. Booth visitors can also learn more about Komatsu’s Tier 4 Final-compliant diesel engines.

The manufacturer said its iMC dozers featured an integrated sensor package that eliminated the daily hassles of installing and removing GNSS antennas and cable from the blade. It claimed its integrated approach boosted rough dozing efficiency up by up to +13% compared to tested models with add-on machine control systems.

The iMC dozers can perform rough dozing as well as finish grading in automatic mode, because of the fully automatic blade control.
