Terex AWP adds US aftermarket location

Terex Aerial Work Platforms (AWP) can now provide aftermarket services for its aerial platforms and telehandlers at the Terex Roadbuilding manufacturing facility in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

The Fort Wayne location will now offer ‘Genie 360°' support services for Genie and Terex branded products and also for competitive brands.

Thor Wickstrom, director of sales, Terex AWP, said; "The Terex Fort Wayne facility will serve as a convenient service location for our customers based in the Midwest, including the markets of Chicago, Detroit and Indianapolis...this location offers an extremely experienced staff with decades of equipment refurbishment and repair expertise."

There are 17 Terex Service Centers and more than 200 field and service technicians located throughout the US equipped to provide maintenance repair and reconditioning services for aerials, cranes, telehandlers, utility equipment, winches, service bodies and portable lighting.

The service centres can also provide frequent and annual inspection services; maintenance contracts; warranty and service bulletin work; damage and routine repairs; and insurance estimates.

Genie 360° is the brand that Terex AWP uses for its customer support services ranging from parts to refurbishment.
