Terex AWP (Aerial Work Platforms) has signed agreements with five regional distributors in the UK to supply Genie portable personnel lifts, portable material lifts, self-propelled Runabout and Quickstock vertical masts and trailer-mounted booms to small rental companies and end-users.

Terex AWP said that these distributors have a different type of contract from other Terex AWP dealers and in focusing on low level access will be able to address the particular needs of the smaller rental companies and end users, which they will be targeting.

The appointed distributors are: AJ Access Platforms Ltd in the South West of England and South/Mid Wales; Access Platforms Sales Ltd in Scotland, South Midlands and most of East Anglia; RF Lifting and Access Ltd in North Wales, the North West and the North of England; Workplatform Ltd in the West Midlands, most of the East Midlands and Yorkshire; Working at Height Ltd in London, the home counties and the South East.

Phil Graysmark, Vice-President of Sales at Terex AWP, "With their deep product knowledge and commitment to offer a first class service, our British distributors will fully answer the needs of our smaller customers and optimise sales of these popular products that offer highly mobile lifting solutions for a wide variety of applications."

The distributors will stock a selection of models for fast delivery and will offer a range of services to support the products such as equipment servicing to maximise the uptime of Genie equipment.
