German manufacturer, Teupen Maschinenbau, has expanded its international sales team for the Polish, French and Scandinavian markets. CEO Michael Wotschke said, "These are very important markets for us so we need an infrastructure that offers the highest degree in customer proximity as well as quality of product consulting and service."

Szymon Weber has been working for Teupen since the beginning of the year. He has years of experience in the Polish construction equipment and rental sector and is now responsible for direct sales, business development and distributor management.

Marc Valtel has taken charge of the same range of tasks in France where Teupen has had a direct sales and technical support network for over 12 years. Teupen is also planning more direct activity in Scandinavia with Lars Hesselgren.

Mr Wotschke said, "The Nordic markets are a perfect opportunity to prove that our direct sales policy will be successful in the long term. Tracked aerials may be known in the market but far from being accepted as a standard repertoire for a well-equipped rental fleet. With Lars Hesselgren we took a professional aboard that has years of experience in the Scandinavian sales environment."

At the end of May the three new Teupen salesmen met for final sales and product training in Gronau, Germany, before officially starting their activity in the markets.
