The 2010 Demolition Awards - a steady flow of entries

05 August 2010

The 2010 Demolition Awards closed for entries on July 30, with a steady flow of documentation arriving at the KHL office over the course of the final two weeks. The number of entries received exceeded last year's total, which in itself was impressive for an inaugural event, and they came from companies working around the world - north and south America, Europe and beyond - to confirm the true international flavour of the event.

The International Judging Panel has now begun their deliberations, with those lucky enough to make it onto the short lists for the 12 Award categories notified of this fact during early September. The Panel will convene closer to the date of the Demolition Summit itself to select the eventual winners. The winners of the various categories will be announced on the evening of 5th November during the Demolition Summit being held at the Okura Hotel in Amsterdam.

D&Ri editor Lindsay Gale said: "Once again, I have been impressed with both the level of response and the quality of entries under the current challenging business conditions. I certainly do not envy the task facing this year's judges."
