Thwaites is launching a ‘High-Power’ version of its 9 t front tipping dumper using a 83 kW Perkins engine rather than the 69 kW unit on the standard model.

The UK manufacturer said the dumper had been developed in response to the demand from contractors and major rental companies for a high powered version of the 9 t model.

Also new to the high powered version is improved driver visibility, with a higher operator’s platform.

Thwaites said it will launch the new dumper as a 2013 model with availability from early January.
