Tutor Perini signs US$ 2 billion in new contracts

US contractor Tutor Perini has announced new contract wins totalling US$ 2 billion and pending awards of more than US$ 890 million.

The company has been retained as contractor for the Tower C development project in Midtown Manhattan, New York. This will include the development of a 520000 m2 office tower.

The company has also been contracted for the development of a 32-storey residential tower at the 500 West 30th Street project in New York City, as well as working on a 41,000 m2 casino and entertainment venue for the Graton Resort & Casino in California.

Tutor Perini subsidiary James A Cummings was also awarded US$ 245 million in new work, while another subsidiary - Roy Anderson - was awarded US$ 35 million in contracts. Tutor Perini's Rudolph & Sletten has also signed US$ 60 million in new contracts, including building the Red Bluff Courthouse in Tehama County, California.

Tutor Perini's civil division has been awarded US$ 51 million in new work and listed as the low bidder on approximately US$ 525 million, while the company's specialty contractors division has won US$ 315 million in new work and was listed as the low bidder on over US$ 170 million in pending awards.
