Manufacturer TVH Group has expanded in the agricultural and industrial vehicle parts markets with a deal to buy replacement glass and accessories supplier GDI Group.

GDI is composed of three companies: GDI, CAB Parts, and Glassinter. GDI (Glaces Distribution Internationale) was established in 1982 and subsequently acquired UK-based CAB Parts in 2010.

In 2015, GDI also incorporated the Glassinter in Germany. The group’s headquarters and central warehouse are based in Beaufort-en-Vallée, France. CAB Parts has an office and warehouse in Crickhowell, UK, and Glassinter has a warehouse in Kirchheim unter Teck, Germany.

GDI has over 6000 customers in 16 countries across Europe, and employs 44 people.

In 2012 TVH Group acquired Bepco Group, one of the leading international groups distributing parts and accessories for agricultural tractors and machinery. With the latest deal, TVH said it had added a third business line to the TVH material handling and industrial equipment lines.

Mike Nyren, marketing and communications Manager of Bepco, said, “The acquisition of GDI enables both TVH and Bepco to distribute the GDI products across our international customer networks and further strengthens our agricultural and industrial equipment ranges.”
